Vintage Hand Painted Floral Art Nouveau Glass Decanter with original matching stopper, both etched 28, proving 100% historical set integrity. Raised enamel is highly intact and crisp. The chrysanthemum pattern featuring long trailing, organic petals is a quintessential motif from the art Nouveau period. This specific style of raised floral enamel work on a clear bulbous glass frame strongly aligns with the known portfolio of Francois-Theodoro Legras out of the St. Denis/Pantin glassworks in France. Features a few small, charming air bubbles trapped in the glass, typical of antique mouth blown production. They are entirely enclosed and is not damaged. The glass is clear and free of cracks. The bottom does appear to have minor chip which I only noticed by feeling it. I have owned this for almost 50 years and it was passed down from my grandmother.
