Bienvenue à UpStaged Vintage. This is a superb mid-century Italian glass bottle decanter in a stunning blue with the shape of a cat’ sbody and the large stopper is a beautiful cat head. From Empoli in Italy, this is a large mid-century decorative bottle decanter. Unmarked but this is a known Empoli design. It will make a fantastic decorative piece and looks especially good with sunlight refracting through it. These can add additional dimensions of height and colour to many mid-century collections, looking wonderful amidst a collection of Genie bottles or simply to display on a Scandinavian style credenza. It would make a lovely gift for any Italian glass lover and could be just the prop you need for your photo shoot or theatrical production. In VERY GOOD vintage condition. The only points to note are: some discolouration to the stopper bung and there is a tiny chink to the top of the head. Its almost invisible, I only spotted it when it caught the light through my camera lens. It is shown as clearly as possible in the last photo. Photos were taken using daylight only.
