Fantastic vintage Erik Höglund figural art glass decanter for Boda, Sweden, from his iconic People series, originally designed in the late 1950s. This wonderfully quirky Mid-Century Modern piece is formed as a human figure with outstretched applied glass arms, bold molded facial decoration to the body and a large sculptural head forming the stopper. Made in clear glass with the wonderfully irregular, handcrafted character associated with Höglund’s work for Boda. A fantastic piece of Swedish Scandinavian Modern art glass and an especially fun display piece for a Mid-Century Modern glass collection. Condition: Very good vintage condition.
