Striking vintage green blown-glass wine decanter or beverage pitcher featuring a bulbous body, applied loop handle, long curved pouring spout, and built-in ice chamber. The separate chamber holds ice to chill wine or other beverages without diluting them. Includes the original-style cork stopper with a substantial brass-toned metal knob. The decanter measures approximately 10.5″ tall and 7.5″ across at its widest point. Pre-owned vintage condition with surface scratches, light cloudiness or mineral residue, bubbles and irregularities associated with blown glass, tarnish and wear on the metal knob, and aging to the cork. The smaller stopper for the front ice-chamber opening is missing. The pouring-spout edge appears somewhat uneven, so please inspect the close-up photographs carefully. No maker’s mark was found.
