This Mid Century Modern (Vintage circa 1960’s) Rainbow Glass Co. Green Decanter & Stopper is 14.5 tall (including stopper). Called the “Newport” it is model 9708 in the Rainbow Catalog. This decanter would be a beautiful addition to any collection. The classic round shape, applied WW1vibrant green color, and intricate “slightly ribbed” pattern make it an eye-catching piece. It was made by American Craftsman using high-quality American glass blowing techniques. This decanter is a true vintage item with a handmade touch. The vase measures 7.5″ tall and the stopper the showpiece of this combination is an amazing 8.375″ one of the tallest out there. The decanter is approx 5″ wide at widest point, 3″ at top. The craftsmanship is evident in every detail of this piece, and it is sure to impress. No chips or breaks. The last pictures shows production flaws? On the vase & stopper. Normal with hand blown glass but for full disclosure… They are very difficult to see but can be felt with a fingernail.
