Vintage Orrefors Polished Crystal Spirit Decanter Evard Hald 1933. This lovely piece is in excellent condition. The decanter is made from a very high quality crystal that has been mouth blown, hand cut and polished with precision. Made by Orrefors it was designed by Edvard Hald in 1933 and is one his most enduring shapes. The piece is free of damage with no chips, cracks, staining or clouding. There are a few tiny scuff marks. It is signed to the underside and clearly reads Orrefors H 2495-111. The decanter is 235 mm tall to the top of the stopper and approximately 130mm x 55mm at the widest part. The decanter is heavy and has the brilliance, sparkle and clarity one would expect from the highest quality crystal. Please note this item is original and not a copy or modern day reproduction.
