Striking vintage mid-century green crackle glass decanter featuring a large rounded body, long slender neck, hand-formed ruffled rim, and dramatic flame/teardrop-shaped glass stopper. Measures approximately 14½-15 inches tall with stopper. The round body is approximately 7 inches across. The vivid avocado/olive green color and crackle-glass construction are characteristic of mid-century American art glass, particularly West Virginia makers. Similar forms were produced by Blenko, Rainbow, Pilgrim and others. Original-style matching stopper is included. A beautiful statement piece for a mid-century modern, retro or art-glass collection.
