Persian King Naser al-Din Shah Qajar on. Vintage COBALT DECANTER BOTTLE Portrait. Exquisite decanter / bottle with 2 portraits of King Naser al-Din Shah Qajar (or Nassereddin Shah Qajar). Beautiful heavy, hand blown, cobalt blue glass. Notice the 3 rings on the neck. With 2 portraits of the Persian / Iranian King in gilt design frames. And hand painted moriage (raised paint) flowers and dots in green, white, red, and peach. Decanter measures 7.5 inches tall to the top of the lip. Nice vintage condition with some wear to the hand painted decoration. Please see in particular the chip to the paint in the mustache area of one of the portraits (see the last photo). The stopper is also missing. Treat yourself or someone you love to this wonderful piece of history! King Naser al-Din Shah Qajar (or Nassereddin Shah Qajar) was King of Persia from September 5, 1848 until his assassination on May 1, 1896.
