Stunning vintage ruby red glass decanter/carafe with stopper, made in Italy during the 1960s or 1970s. Features both the original “Made in Italy” sticker and the KB (Koscherak Brothers) import label. This is a hand-blown piece with a rough pontil mark on the base. The decanter stands approximately 20 tall and is in amazing vintage condition, with no noted flaws. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Additional Information: Koscherak Brothers (KB) were prominent importers of Murano glass and Italian pottery from the 1950s through the late 1970s, operating a showroom at 225 Fifth Avenue, New York City. While much of the glass imported under the KB label is believed to have been produced by Fratelli Toso, KB pieces are also associated with Barovier & Toso, Seguso, and other respected Italian makers. KB is thought to have ceased importing Italian glass around 1977 but continued operations in New York until at least 1993.
