Almaden Est 1852 Vintage Wine Glass Bottle Music Box Italian Decanter Souvenir. Handcrafted Vintage Tree Bark Liquor whisky wine glass bottle with painting of Sulmona Italy and with brand name or marking Brevetto Cima Grappa Caldogno – (VI). This is a vintage estimated more or less around 1950s, faux tree bark, music box, wine/whisky/liquor bottle from Italy. It is a glass bottle which has been encrusted with some kind of plaster and real, wood knot holes in a sculptural, 3D manner which has then been painted green to look like tree bark. All this has been done around a recessed, glossy, scenic photograph of the Italian landscape. In the bottom of the bottle there is a built-in, italian music box which is not working but can be fixed by professionals. There is a wind-up key and a lever which allows the music to stop and start. The bottle is signed on the bottom “Cima Grappa” which is a high mountain pass in the Veneto region of Northeast Italy. It is also signed Caldogno- (IV) which is a town near Vicenza, Italy. It is also signed “Brevetto” which means it was patented. I have seen other tree, bark bottles similar to this one, but this is unique because it also is a music box. The condition of this bottle is good with its cap but there are some minor scratches, and paint damage. The bottle measures 3 3/4 inches wide x 12 1/2 inches in height.
