This is a flat bottomed decanter with a four ring neck in a shape that originated in the British Navy in the mid 18th century and has remained little changed. It is unmarked but well made, with a smoothed pontil on base. There are a few tiny bubbles in the glass at the bottom made during manufacture. I do not know if the stopper is original to the piece.
