The actual clock sits in a beautifully made, faceted glass ring, which in turn is on polished metal supports attached to a black bakelite base. The whole clock is very nice with regard to cosmetic condition – there is some slight age related discolouration on the polished metal uprights etc. But this is not at all serious and not very noticeable.
