Vintage Holmegard Crystal Gourgelette Snapse Doctor decanter Micheal Bang. This piece is in lovely condition. The decanter is from the Snapse or Schnapps Doctor series designed by Michael Bang in the 1970’s. This one is called a Gourgelette and features a double twist to the body of the decanter creating a quite contorted but very interesting piece. The fluid, once poured into the decanter finds its way into the narrow twisted sides creating clear spaces to the body of the piece. There is no damage to the piece. There is no residue nor any clouding. The crystal is clean and clear. There is a very small elongated chip to the side edge of the stopper as shown.
