Vintage Rossini Lady Decanter Face Stopper Hands on Hips. 6 across the base. There is a slight defect in the glass across the bridge of the nose on the stopper which I have seen on other stopper faces. It is not cracked. Under magnified examination it appears to be a rough spot in the glass. I’ve received many comments about this item. Most are related to the stopper. This does have the Blenko like stopper but it is unground. Therefore the consensus is that it is from Italian maker Rossini. I can say that this came out of the attic of our family home where it sat since 1978.

Vintage Fratelli Toso Happy Face Dog/Clown Decanter. Murano Hand Blown Italian Art. Beautiful Sky Blue color bottle with Cobalt Blue and White accents. In storage for decades. Sticker is long gone from bottom. This bottle has droopy ears, wide eyes, big smile and threads of light blue glass running down for the hair. Measures 9.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide. Erik Höglund Boda Bottle Vase. A crystal Boda bottle vase designed by Erik Höglund circa the late 1950s. A large cast on seal applied to the front face is impressed with the head of a girl done in Höglunds charming naive style. The slender neck is encased in a thicker outer casing below. The bottles four faces are slightly dimpled. The clarity of the crystal is sparkling, this is a piece which will not disappoint, it is an early piece, dating well prior to the 1976 merger with Kosta. Most probably from the 1950s or 60s. The base has the signature with H and the production number and a polished pontil. Erik Höglund is considered one of the most innovative glass designers of the 20. Century, designing glass which was sophisticated and readily recognisable as Boda. He created designs which were non-traditional and unique. He left Boda in 1973 to establish his own studio, creating mainly sculptures. Size: 15 cm high, 11 x 5 cm; weight 400g. Condition: very good vintage condition, immaculate apart from scuffing to the base and a small scuff mark to the rear left shoulder. Please view all the pictures as they complete the description. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are purely light reflections from the camera flash. The item will first be wrapped bubble before packing securely in a solid box with lots of peanuts earthquake proof.
