Antique Venetian Murano Glass Pink Copper Stripped Decanter Flower Stopper. This antique Murano glass piece is a notable example of Venetian art glass, specifically a perfume bottle or small decanter featuring complex traditional techniques. Estate find, as is. Please check the pictures for the condition. The pumps may stuck. I believe it is because of use with sugary alcohol and s one soak in water would help but can’t guarantee that. This is a Vintage Cellini Masterpieces Pink Glass Decanter, also known as an Empoli Genie Bottle. It comes with the original sphere stopper. By internal it means that you can feel them on the inside of the mouth, but not on the outside. This is from my personal collection and hard to part ways with…. it’s a BEAUTY. Origins (18th-19th Century). Founded 1783 in Waterford, Ireland, by brothers George & William Penrose. Their goal: produce fine flint glass to rival English and continental crystal. Early Waterford crystal was known for clarity and brilliance, achieved by using very pure silica and a high lead content. The factory became famous quickly but closed in 1851 due to economic challenges (including tariffs and competition). Colleen is a traditional Waterford cut-crystal pattern produced in Ireland. Now retired / discontinued. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or damages. Further details please see all the pictures.
