The decanter has streamlined form. There is a cork stopper. The insert and the glass jar holder. I’m assuming this was a decanter but held liquor. Piece is unmarked, good condition with no chips/cracks. The stopper is a little dark on top; most of bottom at bottom, a tad lighter. The insert and holder are dirty inside. The decanter has some dried liquid and dust/dirt. Minimal overall surface wear. Very cool and very MCM. Bottom to top of cork is 11″ X 4.75″. Insert decanter is 9 from bottom to cork. Holder is 6.75″ X 4.75″.

Large and Heavy Vintage Handblow Smoky & Blue Glass Wine Brandy Decanter by Halytskyi, 1970’s. Galitsky Bogdan Ivanovich was a Soviet Ukrainian glass and ceramic artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born in 1939. He worked in the field of decorative and applied art at the Lviv ceramic-sculpture factory. Lives in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. He is the author of decorative compositions made of ceramics and blown glass, stained glass windows, decorative vases, chandeliers, tableware, and sets. He participated in regional, republican and international art exhibitions. Some of the master’s works are kept in The Museum of Ethnography and Art Crafts in Lviv and The National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv. 2000 ml / 68 oz. Weight: 2,1 kg. Condition: Very good vintage condition with normal wear consistent with age and use; no chips or cracks, light scratches and wear on the base, only visible in certain light. Up for sale is a wonderful vintage Mexican 6 piece liquor decanter set. The set consists of 5 footed cordial glasses and a lidded decanter. They are made of a smoky quartz colored glass and have sterling silver overlaid figural detailing. The glasses have several different mythological figures on each as well as both sides of the decanter. It also has a sterling overlaid matching stopper. The set is in lovely condition, the decanter measures 11 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide and each cordial measures 7 1/4 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide. Stunning smoky amethyst Mid-Century Italian glass floor decanter. In some light it looks like a dark smoke color and in others, I can see a hint of purplish tint. Stands 27 tall to the top of the stopper. There is a thin line about 1/2 way up on the bottle which looks like it is from its manufacture. Nothing detracting or noticeable. The stopper is taped on the bottom to make it tighter into the bottle. Weight of 6.5 lbs. Which is the weight of the item and careful packing materials to get it safely to your door.
