Bienvenue à UpStaged Vintage. This is a really wonderful fine metal and glass Absinthe fountain, a highly decorative french decoration piece, which will look stunning with some antique Absinthe glasses and Absinthe spoons. Perfect for any home bar or drinks cabinet and an ideal gift for any vintage lover. It could make a great prop for any TV, film or theatrical production set. I originally thought that the metal was pewter, but there is a patch which is cleaner than the rest and it is silver and shiny, so probably silver plate or other white metal. In VERY GOOD vintage condition with a couple of points to note. Firstly, though the tap turns it does not work. It seems to be blocked on the inside, someone with the right tools and more patience than I have, might well be able to fix it up. There is also a small rough patch of damage on the rim of the glass, which is hidden by the lid normally but is shown clearly in the photos. Please see all photos and remember it is around 50 years old, pre-owned and pre-loved. Height including lid – 23 cm / 16 in. Base diameter – 12 cm / 5 in. Lid diameter – 8 cm / 3¼ in.
