However, there are two chips around the rim of the decanter. Some of the gold detailing around the base of two of the flutes is missing. The flutes and the decanter have some scratches in the gold. This listing is for a Good to Very Good condition, pre-owned Set of Vintage SEYEI “Victorian Glass” Ruby Red Glass Cordial Decanter & Glasses. Produced by SEYEI in Japan for export. Estimated circa 1960-70’s (+/-). Set components feature extensive gold trim and hand painted enameled decorations. Set consists of Stoppered Decanter & (4) Cordial Glasses. Hand Painted Enameled Highlights are well-detailed and well-applied. Colors are crisp and bright. No chips, cracks, or other known defects beyond those noted below. Gold accent trim exhibits reasonable random signs of rubbing and wear as shown in photos. May exhibit minor stray brush marks or decorating blemishes. May exhibit normal, expected glassmaking variations, seams, processing, flow, or witness marks. Original factory paper or foil labels are no longer present. Decanter measures 2 1/4″ diameter at base x 3″ diameter at midbody x 1 3/4 diameter at top rim edge. Stands 9″ high alone; 11 1/2″ high over top of stopper.
