The item is in fantastic condition unfortunately it’s missing one of the original shot glasses but besides that everything else is original and included and also has been tested and working as far as the musical part when you lift the decanter out it plays. This is a very tough one to sell! This is a large and rare Rolls Royce Musical Decanter Set. The wheel at the back of the car you turn to wind up. When you open up the roof of the car it begins to play music! Close the roof and it stops playing music. It comes with a very nice glass decanter and 4 shot glasses. Please note that one of the original shot glasses was replaced with a smaller one but the right size can easily be bought. This is a very old vintage set but in very good condition. The only thing I saw to note is on the one back fender there is some wear in the paint and if you zoom in you may see that in the one picture. To me it just gives the car a little more character. The car is solid, heavy and large. The pictures show by the ruler how large and impressive this really is. Metal has minor plating loss and light pitting in spots from age, see pics. Sound is good, no flat spots or tempo loss, see video. Song activation steel post works fine, no issues. No cracks or breaks in decanter, holds approx 20 oz. Cork has wear but fits snugly, see pic. Bottle is a translucent amber, very beautiful in the light. Had black paint highlights originally but has worn off thru the decades. Approx 10 1/2″ tall, 5 1/4″ wide and 3 1/4 deep. Unable to find any info on this with Google which is so rare. My Uncle collected all things concerning Knights in the 60s. Made in Japan can be seen barely on bottom red felt, see pic.

Rare Vintage Lovers Musical Dancing Couple Liquor Bottle Decanter Wedding Gift Made Japan Mid Century 1950s. Ballerina Waltz Ballroom Dance. In excellent operating order and quite mesmerising to watch. This musical decanter was crafted during the’50s and is a true collectable. When wound up, music starts playing and the graceful dancers spin, bounce, and whirl in a lovely waltz. What kind of dancers are they? Your imagination is the only limit here. Music plays loud and clear, in tact with all its original parts. Gold and black bands around the glass decanter feature a houndstooth style pattern. Female dancer wears and pink gown with red dots and gold metallic accents. Male dancer wears black tux with tails. Both are brunettes, dancing on their tiptoes. Legs jiggle and the couple spins and jumps when they dance to the music. Turn key and on off switch on the base work well. I’m unfamiliar with the tune but happy to send a video to you if you want to hear it. 12.5cm diameter at base. Designed and made in Japan. Decorative metal chain and tag around the neck. For Drinking & Your Mascot. Patent number is stamped on the base. Music still plays very well, bottle in good vintage condition, some losses to the cork, liquid stains to base.
