Up for sale is this great vintage Rossini for EMPOLI Italian Art Glass Wine Carafe Bottle with 2 applied bands and a Medallion stamped on the front. Great Amberina orangey red color. This measures 13″ tall and is 5″ wide at the base and most 4 wide at the tip. No chips or cracks.

Vintage Erik Hoglund Sweden Boda Triangular Glass Medallion Carafe. Designed by Erik Hoglund. Marked Boda and then with 2 numbers or 2 letters, unreadable, and then either 179 or /79. Measures about 9.75 inches tall. Different glass medallion/panel on each side. Two are faces, one is animal. Has been gently cleaned but every time i rinse it, i can’t seem to get the inside dry right (don’t have anything long skinny enough to wipe down inside). So there are some whitish water spots inside. Overall the glass is pretty clear. There are few pale murky sections inside which may or may not come out with proper treatment. In some of the photos, the ash embedded in the glass is visible and, in my opinion, looks starker than it would to one’s eye. Item has been gently cleaned but a pale area of brown remains around part of the neck… Visible in some of the photos. In the area of what looks like a seam. Something may have gotten in there, I don’t know. On the should above the medallion of the face (presumably male face) there are some fine scratches as though someone had used a brillo pad or something similar. Overall in great shape. Some light shelf rub. I’m just trying to be as thorough as possible with the description. Those items of note are really only visible upon close inspection. Item has been gently cleaned but not polished recently. So some soiling, oxidation, and/or patina may remain. Please be sure to Supersize photos (the ones along body of listing; not the ones at the top of the listing) to get better idea of condition detail.. Please be sure to inspect photos in case i’ve accidentally left something out of the description. Please don’t hesitate should you have any questions or concerns. As such, they may have accumulated gunk or whatever and have been cleaned as my expertise allows without affecting the item’s quality.
