Origins (18th-19th Century). Founded 1783 in Waterford, Ireland, by brothers George & William Penrose. Their goal: produce fine flint glass to rival English and continental crystal. Early Waterford crystal was known for clarity and brilliance, achieved by using very pure silica and a high lead content. The factory became famous quickly but closed in 1851 due to economic challenges (including tariffs and competition). Colleen is a traditional Waterford cut-crystal pattern produced in Ireland. Now retired / discontinued. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or damages. Further details please see all the pictures.

Kosta Boda FELIX Kjell Engman Pair Cognac Glasses Orange Base, Yellow & Purple. I ran across these the other day, they have been packed away for some time.. Impossible to find cognac glasses, they have not been used, as we don’t drink cognac. They are in fantastic condition, there is a tiny spot photoed where there is a fleck of paint loss, not a chip. They may have came that way, unfortunately not our style so they’ve been packed since we received them. Craftsmanship of Kosta Boda is spectacular. Waterford Crystal Castletown Decanter. This is a gorgeous footed decanter by Waterford Crystal. The pattern is Castletown, first produced in 1968. The pattern features horizonal cuts, fluting, and diamond point cuts. The decanter is signed with the Old English Waterford logo on the foot. The decanter is in good condition. There is a single flea bite on the neck, pictured. There is a scuff on the body of the decanter, pictured. There are a few scratches on the body as well, not pictured.
