Vintage Czech Coralene Egg Decanter Tantalus Set. This vintage set stands apx. One of the small glasses does have a crack…. See last photo for a close up. There are markings on the bottom of the decanter but I was unable to make out what it reads. I have included a photo of the bottom. This set was obtained at an estate sale. It does show use and wear. For the best description see all photos. When the lid is hinged open the set is unbalanced. So use care with opening so that it doesn’t fall over. When it’s closed everything is stable and secure.

C1920’s, Czechoslovakia “egg” shape, cobalt blue container with coralene , “Mary Gregory” style decoration of a little girl in a field of flowers. There is wear to the face and leg of the girl. The container is 9″ tall, about 6″ across, complete with 6 glasses and a 5 1/2 tall decanter. The glasses have a paper label, “Made in Czech” and the decanter has Czechoslovakia embossed on the bottom. The glasses and decanter are in excellent, unused condition. The brass hinge works and catches as it should. These sets were used for cordials, absinthe and sometimes christenings.
