Vintage Art Deco Style Russian Desk / Mantle Clock Circa 1960s /70s. Art Deco Style, but probably 1970s in the days of the U. It is an 8 day clock with an 11 jewel compensated lever escapement mounted on a platform. It is wound by a permanent key, on the back, and the hands are set by a knob to the left of the winder. The whole clock is very nice with regard to cosmetic condition – there is some slight age related discolouration on the polished metal uprights etc. But this is not at all serious and not very noticeable.
