FOR SALE HERE IS one WHITE CASED LIDDED jar or decanter of mid century modern ART GLASS created in Murano Italy in the early 60s by the Italian ARTIST, Master Glass Designer LUCIANO VISTOSI (born in Venice 1931). It is a rare piece being part of a group of varying sizes. It is in perfect condition without chips cracks or restoration and being green/blue and pristine white cased in both body and lid (cover). The profile of the jar is waisted and so is the lid accentuating the solid white casing against the coloured glass. The lid slips over the rim and is just a joy in finishing the design, especially particular to 1960, being then so fresh and new. Nothing like it had been seen before. This is a rare colour colour too. The total height is 18cm (7″) x 10cm (4″) wide across the base (approx).
