No chips no cracks no cloudiness. This is the much larger triple gourd optic decanter much much more sought after than the smaller non optic triple gourd. Absolutely stunning in person.

Vintage Bischoff MCM Amber Controlled Bubble Glass Decanter 12.5″ Tall – 14″ with stopper. Pre-owned – No chips or cracks. The top rim is clean. The stopper is not the original stopper, but I thought this one would go well with it. Vintage Mid-Century BISCHOFF Art Glass Honey Gold/Amber Controlled Bubbles Decanter #375. Hailing from the Blenko/Eames Era, This Decanter is Strikingly Similar to Decanter #920 Designed by Winslow Anderson for Blenko Glass in the Late 1940’s. Bischoff Glass Company was located in Culloden, West Virginia (1922 – 1963). It has a pattern of controlled bubbles blown into the glass, which becomes more elogated towards the top of the bottle. It has a rough pontil and a ground neck. I do want to note that inside the neck is ground (unpolished), and this is not scratches or flaws, but a normal part of production on some of these decanters.

An incredibly eye-catching, much-coveted and increasingly rare vintage 1980s art glass decanter hand-blown by Mexican artisans. It has a deeply ribbed, curved rectangular body of controlled bubble glass ingeniously paired with a brilliant, oversized, spherical mercury glass stopper. Simply a phenomenal display piece for a bar cart, shelf or table. It’s 8 inches tall including stopper, and weighs 1 pound 14 ounces. Capacity is deceivingly good at 38 oz. In good vintage condition. The glass has no chips, fleabites, cracks or cloudiness–body or stopper. Silvering on the stopper remains wholly intact, and that’s becoming harder to find in these pieces. The stopper cork fits lightly in the neck, and has lost a few bits, as shown in the photo. This is a stunning example of mid-century Italian artistry: a vintage Empoli cased glass “triple bubble” gourd decanter. Produced in Italy during the 1960s, this architectural piece captures the height of the Space Age aesthetic. The decanter features a vibrant azure blue exterior expertly cased over a clean milk-glass white interior, creating a brilliant, saturated color profile that truly “pops” in natural light. Standing an impressive 19 inches tall, this decanter commands attention. Its iconic triple-lobed silhouette-often referred to as a “Genie Bottle” or “Gourd” shape-is a hallmark of the Empoli region’s glass-blowing tradition. While it is currently presented as a standalone decorative vase or decanter (without a stopper), its sheer scale and “Headless” architectural form make it a highly sought-after piece for Mid-Century Modern and Hollywood Regencycollectors alike. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The glass remains clear and vibrant with no chips, cracks, or internal mineral staining. The top rim is smooth and free of flea bites.
