This listing is for a Vintage Waterford Crystal Master Cutter Irish Cut Glass “Alana” Prestige Pattern Large 12 (30.5 cm) Tall Pedestal Footed Claret Wine Decanter. It is Signed with the Older “Waterford” Acid Stamp on side of Foot (photo 5). Original Faceted Stopper, Triple Notched Handle, and Rayed Foot. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. All rims, edges, handle, and stopper look perfect! Clean inside with just a little minor residue at the very bottom, noted for accuracy (photo 12). Otherwise clean and clear! Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. It is big and heavy weighing over 3 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages. It measures 12″ (30.5 cm) tall to top of stopper, 9 1/2″ tall to spout, about 4 1/4″ handle to spout, 5″ at widest part of body, and 3 15/16 at the base or foot. Vintage Ships Decanter & Stopper Alana by Waterford Crystal Liquor Bar Wine EUC. This is a very nice Waterford ships decanter in the Alana pattern. Measures approx 9.75 high with stopper. Excellent condition, I find no chips or nicks but lots of cutting on it. UPPER: Waterproof full-grain leather upper. INSULATION: Removable 9mm washable recycled felt inner boot with Sherpa Pile snow cuff. MID SOLE: 2.5 mm bonded felt frost plug. OUT SOLE: Handcrafted waterproof vulcanized rubber shell with herringbone out sole. SO REL rated: -40 Fahrenheit / -40 Celsius. FABULOUS VINTAGE WATERFORD CRYSTAL “ALANA” SHIPS DECANTER MADE IN IRELAND BRILLIANT CUT CROSS-HATCH DESIGN & CUT PANELS W/ CUT FOOT, MULTI-FACETED BALL STOPPER. ALTHOUGH THE DECANTER DOES NOT HAVE ANY SIGNS OF WEAR, NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR SCRATCHES IT DOES SHOW CLOUDINESS ON THE INTERIOR WHICH COMPLETELY DISSIPATES WHEN LIQUID IS ADDED. THE ACID-ETCHED WATERFORD MARK IS VISIBLE ON THE BOTTOM AND THE ORIGINAL OLDER REPUBLIC OF IRELAND. Vintage and condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches, cracks or repairs.
