Antique Czechoslovakian Green Glass Duck Decanter with Brass Head. Wonderfully fun antique Czechoslovakian glass decanter dating from the 1940’s. Measuring – 6.5″H x 8″L x 4W. Unique duck shape container made of glass, with a flip top brass head pour spout. The duck decanter has exterior optics on the body where the glass gradually transitions from green at the body to clear double wing handles and base. The piece is marked’Czechoslovakia’ inside the hinged area of the head. Also, “42” is marked inside of the head on either side. These decanters have been identified in Truitt I and II as having been made by the Palda company. There is a small amount of residue on inside bottom. No obvious chips or damage, however the bottom/base shows the normal wear of slight scuffing. There are 2 bubbles in the glasswork on the side of the body. Looks like normal bubbles produced during the glass making process. The pictures are of the actual item you will be receiving.
