Presented for your consideration is a stellar cut-to-clear crystal decanter in a vibrant EMERALD GREEN. Cut into the mouth blown sides are large round cameo panels above a band of deeply cut marquise ovals and topped by a ring of fans. The sides are about 1/4 inch thick. The neck has been adorned with elongated panels and the green base has been cut with a large star. The heavy solid, well-fitting stopper is four-sided. This full lead (24% PbO) crystal wine decanter is a vintage German piece. Nachtmann Bleikristallwerke GmbH , Neustadt a. The pattern is called Bamberg and is one of the more sought-after traditional German crystal pattern. It is in excellent condition. There are no nicks, dings, chips, scratches nor repairs. The original gold foil sticker is still in place. Height: 10 7/8 inches with stopper in place. Height: 8 1/2 without stopper. Diameter rim: 2 1/8 inches. Diameter at widest part: 5 3/8 inches.
