Vintage Empoli Genie Bottle Decanter. Measuring a towering 27 tall! This Empoli Italian decanter would be the perfect accent piece in a MCM bar! Made from delicately ribbed, handblown optic glass, and featuring a heavy, tapered matching stopper, this amethyst purple decanter is an object of desire! Whether you use this for service or just for decoration, you are guaranteed to bring more than casual interest to your setup! The glass decanter comes with matching stopper. It is unsigned, but it was likely made c. 1960 by Empoli or other skilled Italian glass house. The Empoli Decanter is in EXCELLENT condition! This beautiful MCM piece suffers from no major damage, flaw, chip, or repair. Gratefully, this piece has not had liquids stored inside for extended periods of time, and, as such, shows very little to no staining or clouding of the inside of the decanter. The stopper has some light spotting to the inside. This can likely be cleaned out; I did not try. The outside of the decanter has a few exceedingly minor spots of surface wear, but these are obvious neither visually nor tactilely. Height with stopper: 27 (69 cm) Base diameter: 5.25 (13.3 cm).
