Hard to say the color-like a smoky charcoal but when you shine a light on it, it looks like the color of beer bottles. 16 1/8″ tall to rim and 21″ tall with stopper-not a hobnail stopper but same color and fits well (see last photo for 2nd decanter with hobnail stopper).
