For sale is a vintage V. Nason & C glass decanter. This stunning decanter features a blue-tinged glass with an amber glass stopper. The stopper is completely polished. Nason & C sticker is still attached to the side of the bottle. The underside of the decanter is signed, “VNasonC”. This gorgeous decanter measures 10 3/4″ tall x 3 1/2″ wide. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing noted. There are minimal to no surface scratches. The glass is clear and vibrant. The blue tinge is very obvious. There are a few small unintended air bubbles scattered throughout. Please see the photos for full details. A little history on V. Vincenzo Nason is a famous master who worked on Murano for the Venini Company. He then opened his own glass company in 1967. He renamed his company V. Nason & C in 1989. The company closed in the early 2000’s and is famous for their range of Avventurina Murano Glass along with sculptures of animals and birds. Nason & C were classified as masters in opaline glass.
