Vintage Holmegard Crystal Gourgelette Snapse Doctor decanter Micheal Bang. This piece is in lovely condition. The decanter is from the Snapse or Schnapps Doctor series designed by Michael Bang in the 1970’s. This one is called a Gourgelette and features a double twist to the body of the decanter creating a quite contorted but very interesting piece. The fluid, once poured into the decanter finds its way into the narrow twisted sides creating clear spaces to the body of the piece. There is no damage to the piece. There is some residue to the inside base as shown in the form of evaporated spirits showing as whitish marks as shown. Due to the shape of the piece it is near impossible to get to the base to rub any marks away. These disappear once there is fluid within the decanter. The decanter is 300mm tall to the top of the stopper. Please note this item is original and not a copy or modern day reproduction. International Buyers Please Note.
