Being offered is a Pair of Large Vintage Murano Art Glass Lamp Finials or Decanter Stoppers. I do not know a lot about these pieces. They are currently lamp finials and were probably from decanters. One of the finials was broken down inside of the ferrule…. And it appears there was an attempt to “glue” if back in place but was not successful. The break is fairly clean and the glass sits back in place at the break. It can be repaired and, given that the break is down inside, it will never show. The pieces are plastered into the ferrules. If one wanted to get them out of the plaster and ferrules, I would start at the bottoms and work my way up. There is one split in the tip of one of the finials… And it appears to be from the pliers used in their making. Overall Height = 9 5/8. Glass Exposed = 6 5/8. Ferrule Height = 3.
